Who Is Not a Candidate? (Contraindications)
Active Sunburn: We cannot treat skin that is currently red, peeling, or inflamed from recent UV exposure.
Undiagnosed Lesions: Any suspicious or changing dark spots must be cleared by a dermatologist prior to aesthetic treatment to rule out skin cancer.
Recent Accutane® Use: Must be off isotretinoin for at least 6 months before undergoing professional resurfacing.
Pregnancy or Nursing: Certain high-strength brightening ingredients and peels are contraindicated during this time.
Pre-Care & Post-Care Instructions
Pre-Care: Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning for 2 weeks prior. Discontinue retinoids and exfoliating acids 72 hours before your appointment.
