Treatments are administered according to established clinical best practices and under the medical direction of our supervising provider. Because scar revision often requires more aggressive remodeling, every session is monitored for optimal safety and tissue response.
Who Is Not a Candidate? (Contraindications)
Active Acne: This treatment is for revision only. Active, inflamed breakouts must be controlled before starting aggressive scar remodeling to avoid spreading bacteria or worsening inflammation.
Recent Accutane® Use: Must be off isotretinoin for at least 6–12 months due to the high risk of impaired healing and scarring.
History of Keloids: Individuals prone to thick, raised keloid scarring should avoid aggressive resurfacing.
Pregnancy or Nursing: Certain medical topicals and technologies used in scar revision are contraindicated during this time.
Pre-Care & Post-Care Instructions
Pre-Care: Arrive with a "baseline" of calm skin. Discontinue retinoids and exfoliating acids 1 week prior.
