The Science Behind Your Glow

Glo On The Go is designed to improve skin clarity, hydration, and radiance through controlled exfoliation, enhanced cellular turnover, and targeted nutrient delivery.

The treatment begins with gentle exfoliation to remove accumulated corneocytes (dead skin cells) from the stratum corneum, the outermost layer of the skin. By reducing surface debris and congestion, healthy epidermal cells can more efficiently migrate to the skin’s surface, resulting in a smoother and brighter complexion.

Hydrating serums rich in antioxidants, humectants, and skin-conditioning ingredients are then applied to support the skin barrier, increase moisture retention, and improve overall skin function. This process helps reduce dullness, improve texture, and promote a healthy, radiant appearance.

The result is refreshed, hydrated skin with improved luminosity and a healthier-looking complexion.

Who Is Not a Candidate?

This treatment may not be appropriate for individuals who:

• Are currently using Accutane® (isotretinoin) or have used it within the past 6 months

• Have active cold sores, open wounds, cuts, or skin infections

• Have severe rosacea flare-ups or uncontrolled inflammatory skin conditions

• Have active sunburn or recently experienced excessive sun exposure

• Are experiencing allergic skin reactions or unexplained rashes

• Have recently undergone aggressive resurfacing procedures without adequate healing time

• Are currently experiencing active eczema or psoriasis in the treatment area

• Have any condition that may impair normal skin healing

A consultation may be required to determine suitability prior to treatment.

Pre-Care Instructions

To ensure the best results and minimize irritation:

• Discontinue retinol, Retin-A®, tretinoin, adapalene, and other vitamin A products 72 hours before treatment

• Avoid exfoliating acids (AHA, BHA, glycolic, salicylic, lactic acids) for 48–72 hours before your appointment

• Avoid excessive sun exposure and tanning for at least 72 hours prior to treatment

• Do not wax, thread, or use depilatory creams on the treatment area for 5–7 days before your appointment

• Arrive with clean skin free of heavy makeup when possible

• Notify your provider of any recent cosmetic procedures, medications, or skin sensitivities

Post-Care & Maintenance Guidelines

Following your treatment:

• Apply broad-spectrum SPF 30+ or higher daily

• Avoid direct sun exposure for at least 24–48 hours

• Refrain from using retinoids, exfoliating acids, scrubs, or active ingredients for 48–72 hours

• Avoid saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs, and excessive sweating for 24 hours

• Keep skin hydrated using gentle moisturizers and recommended skincare products

• Do not pick, scratch, or aggressively exfoliate the skin

• Drink plenty of water to support skin hydration

For ongoing skin health and optimal results, maintenance treatments are typically recommended every 4–6 weeks based on your individual skincare goals.
